Attorney Herbert W. “Bill” Larson has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1993. His expertise focuses on intellectual property (IP) applications, litigation both in the U.S. and abroad, anti-counterfeiting strategies, franchise and business opportunity formation and law, advising entrepreneurs and startup companies, mediation and arbitration, complex transactions involving the assignment and licensing of businesses and IP, and IP portfolio management.
Bill started his legal career in 1985 as a legal assistant to his father, Herbert Larson, Sr., who served as Patent Counsel for the DuPont Company for 24 years in Wilmington, Delaware. Together, they founded Larson & Larson, P.A., in Largo, Florida, in 1987. Bill graduated from the University of South Florida in 1989 and earned his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. He returned to the family law firm and now leads the practice as managing partner and owner.
Bill is a devoted husband to his wife of over thirty years, Mickey Larson, who is the firm’s office administrator, and a proud father of their daughter, Haley, who also graduated from USF and went on to earn a secondary degree as a licensed veterinary technician.
