I have an invention that I want to patent. It is in an area that is just emerging so not many people know much about it. After searching for a patent attorney I found Frank Liebenow at Larson & Larson. He is easy to talk to, has a good background, is upfront with answers to questions and, when asked, offered to try to help me. However, when he saw my patent application he realized it was not in an area that he was comfortable working in.Frank didn't stop there, he and some in his office knew a person that they thought might be able to help me. So, rather than just tell me, Frank called the other patent attorney and asked him if their thoughts were correct and the other attorney said yes: he could and would be happy to help me. Then Frank informed me that he, Frank, would not be comfortable working in the area of my intended patent, but that he had found an attorney in a different law firm that would be able to help me. I really appreciate Frank taking the time to do that as restarting my search for a patent attorney was not an effort I was looking forward to.

I don't give out compliments unless they're true and people deserve them to know. Larson and Larson definitely deserves the highest praise as far as I'm concerned. If you are looking for a patent attorney in Tampa bay look no where else. Mr. Larson is simply the best and most knowledgeable. I had an amazing experience with Larson and Larson. Nice the find a lawyer to work with that puts ethics and integrity over money. He could have easily filed the more expensive utility patent , but told me it would takes years and alot of cash. Even then it would probably not be enforceable. He suggested the design patent knowing it could be defended and the whole process felt comfortable. Patent filed and we are officially Patent Pending! Thank you all!

There are a lot of steps between the idea/concept phase - to the product or even prototype phase.. If you made it that far, I'm sure it was through hard work, long hours, and quite a bit of money invested.Getting that patent, after all of the effort, well, you know it just has to be done..I think the greatest compliment I can give Larson and Larson, specifically Justin Miller, was the ease of the entire process.I had a physical product that I was able to create a prototype of using a 3D printer. I provided that, and the CAD designs that were used to create it, and frankly, the rest was taken care of by Justin and his team.. I'm 24 years old and I have a patent. I was taught in school how hard those were to attain, and I believe it now, at least as far as getting the product presentable, that is difficult. But if you have that, and Mr. Justin Miller, you're in good shape. I hope to continue to invent, I have other ideas in mind, but not other patent attorneys. Justin Miller is my guy. Thanks again.
