Larson & Larson was founded in 1987 by the late Herbert W. Larson. After retiring from a career from Dow Chemical as patent counsel, he moved his family from Pennsylvania to Florida. Herb realized that he was not done being a patent attorney and decided to start his own law firm. Thus Larson & Larson was born.
Herb’s son Herbert William Larson—Bill—joined the Firm, and remains today as the owner. During 1995 to 2008, Bill’s brother, James Larson, was a partner in the Firm before moving on to serve as in-house counsel for an international company.
Larson & Larson expanded beyond its family roots, taking on Frank Liebenow as a patent agent.
With the excellent support staff of Mickey Larson, Larson & Larson carries forward Herb’s vision of a Florida intellectual property law firm.
